A “Novel” Way to Look at Your Faith Walk

Judy Miller

If you’re puzzled about how to live out your daily faith walk and would like to hear how other Christian “walkers” are doing it, come to Judy Miller’s home on Tuesday, Jan. 7, at 1:30 p.m. to preview the novel, Sensible Shoes by Sharon Garlough Brown. It follows the stories of four women as they are drawn into a spiritual formation journey at a retreat center. Reading this novel takes several months, and the goal is to meet together weekly to follow what is going on with the women in the novel and share our walks as we travel into our own personal journeys with God.

At our first get-together, we’ll preview the book and select a day and time to meet. Contact Judy at 541-941-6201 or [email protected] to let her know you’ll be coming to the first meeting. Whether you are a new believer or one of many years, you’ll find good food for thought from our discussions and ways to deepen your personal faith journey. And you’ll make some great new friends, too! If you can’t make it, contact her with your interest, and she’ll provide the January start date the group selects.
