Hidden Tucson trip planned

Arizona Pathfinders, a non-profit volunteer group of the Arizona Historical Society, is conducting a one-day Hidden Tucson I trip on February 19, 2015. We will tour the newly renovated Old Main on the campus of the U of A where we will view the beautiful museum they have set up next to President Hart’s office and hear Old Main’s history. We will visit the Tucson Chinese Cultural Center on the Chinese New Year. There will be special activities, including a guest speaker, tour of the CCC, lunch and a video about Zheng He, the Admiral of China’s leviathan ships. We will have a guided tour through the Franklin Auto Museum. We will finish the day at Tin Town where we will have a guided tour of the most amazing collection of old mining, Western, and Arizona memorabilia you can imagine, along with thousands of other interesting objects the owners have collected over decades. Then we will have a catered dinner. We will be back at the Arizona Historical Museum around 6:00 p.m.

The cost is $139 per person, which includes lunch and dinner and a deluxe coach. Please contact Bob Stuart at 520-825-4239 or Mary Flynn at 520-579-7508 for more information.
