Forty neighbors in Unit 8A decided to spend leap day, Feb. 29, getting together for Game Night and playing a fun card game called Crazy Bridge.

John and Marci Whitehead, George Patterson, and Shelley Zieglar, hosted 20 neighbors at each of their homes. Individuals were randomly chosen prior to game night so everyone knew which home to go to. Twelve card games were played with different directions for each game, and when the game was over everyone rotated to a different table with different partners. Each person kept their own score sheet.

When the 12 games were completed, everyone leaped over to Stan and Denise Doepke’s home for dessert, and to anxiously find out who was the big winner. All score sheets were given to John Whitehead to determine who had the highest score. Paul Thomsen was ecstatic to find out he was the big winner of the night. CJ Utecht had the second highest score.

It really didn’t matter who won or lost, it was an evening full of laughs and craziness for those who participated.
