Recap

Karl “English” Knight and Dominic “The Doctor” Borland’s path to victory started by sending Dan “Oh No!” Stebbins and Jim “Rocket Man” Donat to the loser’s bracket after a hard-fought match. Their next opponent was Randy “Thin Man” Smith and Jim “Shooter” Fabio, Karl and Dominic sent them to the loser’s bracket to continue their championship run. Tom “Ski” Kaliski and Fred “The Baker” Dianda were up next and their fate was different than Karl and Dominic’s other opponents, Tom and Fred won the match as Dominic inadvertently pocketed the 8-Ball out of turn to lose the match. Karl and Dominic were sent to the loser’s side. In the loser’s bracket Karl and Dominic matched up against Gary “One Rail” Barlow and Richard “Loose Rack” Galant, where they quickly sent Gary and Richard home. Karl and Dominic now would have to beat Tom and Fred twice to take the championship. In the first game Dominic got in stroke and was running out when he got down to the tied up 5-Ball, he executed a brilliant kick shot on the 5-Ball into the side pocket and was left with great shape on the 8-Ball and the win. This set up the final game for the championship. Karl and Dominic would not be denied as they outshot Tom and Fred for the win!
