A hearty group of 45+ line dancers raised over $500 for the Utah based Best Friends Animal Society on April 3, 2015. The students of Line Dance with Rebecca filled the MountainView East and center with laughter stomping, clapping, music and refreshments.

The party, organized by SaddleBrooke Line Dance instructor Rebecca Magdanz, was a resounding success. A rapidly moving three-hour session kept everyone on the floor for about as much energy as they could muster. There were too many dances to list, but the I Don’t Look Good Naked Anymore seems to sum up the theme and anthem for the community. Check out the lyrics to this funny song on YouTube.com.

Many a tired foot moved on into the Agave Lounge for some well-deserved R&R. Of course, the Agave staff provided everything ordered, except the Epsom salt foot baths, for the tired dancers and their spouses who arrived later in the day.

These generous and proficient dancers had a terrific time that Friday afternoon, and a very nice donation will be heading north to Kanab, Utah, to the world’s largest no-kill animal sanctuary. Thanks to our dancers and to the Best Friends organization, which creates, coordinates, trains and supports animal welfare programs worldwide from the main facility just north of the AZ border.
