Don’t miss out on a great presentation by Paul Ingram, an award-winning journalist and photographer for the Tucson Sentinel on Thursday, Aug. 15 from 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Ranch House Sol Ballroom. There will be time after his presentation for questions. Paul focuses his articles on border and immigration situations.

Most recently, Paul covered the dead-locked trial of a No More Deaths volunteer, Scott Warren. In 2018, Paul was awarded the Arizona Press Club’s Community Journalist of the Year Award. As noted by the judges, his work on border issues “rivals a lot of work produced for national organizations” and demonstrated “a depth of understanding of the immigration crisis.” Paul was also awarded the Institute for Nonprofit News’ Impact Prize for Nonprofit News Photography in 2018. Paul’s previous awards include a Community Breaking News Award for his trial coverage of a border agent accused of a cross-border shooting death in 2012, as well as a Non-Metro News Photojournalism Award. Along with his work at the Tucson Sentinel, Paul has written for Reuters and the Associated Press as well as the Roads and Kingdoms magazine. His photos have been widely published by Reuters, High County News and the New York Times. Paul was featured in an Australian documentary on politics across the U.S., entitled A Hard Road. In recent weeks, he was selected as the Community Journalist of the Year by the Arizona Press Club.

Several of us from the Ranch attended a recent presentation by Paul. He is a wealth of knowledge and has a lot of passion about the border and immigration. We encourage you to attend this presentation on Aug. 15.
