February proved to be a month of challenging, cold, blustery weather conditions. Falling snow resulted in the cancellation of the first putting session of the month. Due to cold temperatures and strong winds only 17 brave ladies putted on the third week. Thankfully the month ended with reasonable weather and we enjoyed an instructional session with Mike Jahaske and Ken Steinke, our SBR pros.

Monthly prizes are given out to ladies with the first, second and third lowest average scores and putters who aced their shots six times or more.

SBR Ranchette Putters is pleased to announce our February winners. Doris Carlin had the third lowest average with 38.667. Denise Sandoval landed in second place with an average of 38.333. The first-place honors went to Edie Kellogg with an average of 38.000 for the month.

Weather conditions and a cancelled session impacted the ability of our members to score six or more holes in one during February. However, we enjoyed ‘treats’ during two socials; parfaits on Valentine’s Day and fresh fruit after putting with our pros.

Ranchette Putters is proud of the dedication and perseverance shown by this month’s winners. The club invites all female residents of SBR to join us for a fun weekly event. Check out our bulletin board by the pro shop for more information or contact Cindy Watkins at
