Skip lunch; fight hunger

Dear Friends:

It’s easy to spend $10 on lunch in SaddleBrooke Ranch without thinking twice. You may be surprised to learn that in the hands of Tri-Community Food Bank $10 will help provide meals for five children. In SE Pinal County children regularly face hunger. Food is a basic need: children cannot grow, thrive or do well in school without good nutritious food.

Join me in the fight against hunger. Donate what you would normally spend on lunch at the clubhouse or at home for a day, or throughout the week. Twenty to 25% of children living in Oracle, San Manuel and Mammoth are living in poverty. Their families are struggling to put food on the table.

You can make a difference. As the calendar fast approaches the holidays, please remember the children. Please join me in the Fight Against Hunger:

$10 helps feed five children lunch;

$20 helps feed them for a week;

$50 helps feed 25 children.

Please support us and join in the fight against childhood hunger. Thank you in advance for your generosity and contribution to Tri-Community Food Bank.

With sincere thanks,

Cynthia Chevalley, Chairperson
