On March 9 at Happy Hour (4:00-6:00 p.m.) Gathering Hearts will be collecting donations of full size hygiene products for Youth On Their Own (YOTO).
Products such as full-size shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, shave cream, soap, toothpaste, dental floss, razors, tampons and panty liners are much appreciated and in great need.
Youth On Their Own is a Tucson organization that supports the high school graduation of homeless unaccompanied youth ages 13 through 21.
Students are enrolled in high school and are motivated and supported to obtain their high school diplomas despite personal and financial hardships.
An easy way to stretch your donation dollars is shopping at the Dollar Tree or 99 Cent Store. Most items are only $1 which makes a $20 donation go a long way. Keep your receipt as it is tax deductible.
