Ranchers share their Texas pride

Ranchers who were born in Texas or “got there as fast as they could” share their Texas pride at the Lone Star Roundup on March 21 at the Ranch House Grill and Brewery.

Twenty-plus Ranchers who were born in Texas or “got there as fast as they could” brought their Texas pride and enthusiasm for a Texas Club to the Lone Star Roundup on Thursday, March 21. The roundup was held in the Escondido Room at the Ranch House Grill and Brewery.

Attendees plotted the cities and towns where they were born or lived in Texas on a Texas-sized (of course) map. Residents hailed from four regions of the state, including the Panhandle, Gulf Coast, Hill Country and the Northeast Prairies and Lakes.

Plans are underway to form a Texas Club and plan future events. If you were born in or lived in Texas and are interested in participating, please contact Ranch residents Judy Dodson, Linda Zoellner or Janelle Authur.
