The last time members of Table 7 met for dinner in person was March 12, when Judy and Bill Fisher arranged for our group of six couples to meet at The Preserve for date night. Afterwards, the group went back to the Fisher’s home to visit and to enjoy dessert and beverages. Little did we know it would be the last time we would meet in person for a while.

April was filled with weeks of staying-at-home and longing to see friends. Days were spent reading, learning new skills—like making face masks and using an otherwise little-known program named Zoom.

When the day for another dinner rolled around, the six couples from Table 7 agreed to try something new and different. While we couldn’t meet in person, we decided to meet via Zoom. It was arranged that everyone would order dessert from the Ranch House, and then log on to Zoom to share some time together. We spent a fun hour catching up with everyone while trying this technology. Although not everyone had used the program, it gave people a chance to learn how to use Zoom.

The moment was captured in a screen shot. Instead of before and after, we have before and during pictures. We look forward to the time we can include an after to our gallery of pictures.
