Have you been to the beautifully restored Historic 1891 Pinal County Courthouse in Florence? Attended a Pinal County Board of Supervisors meeting? If you answered “No” to either question, you have the opportunity for a new experience on Wednesday, November 19.
The League of Women Voters – SaddleBrooke Unit, will be making a trip to Florence that day to attend the Supervisors bi-monthly meeting, and you are invited to join us. We plan to carpool, leaving SaddleBrooke at 8:30 a.m., attend the meeting at 9:30 a.m., take a tour of the restored Historic Courthouse and have lunch in town afterward; you have a choice of Greek, Italian and Mexican. And for those who haven’t had the opportunity to visit the Pinal County Museum, if you can spend an extra hour you’ll want to do so here. It has very interesting displays from the bygone days in the county.
All are welcome to join the SaddleBrooke Leaguers on this outing to our north. If you’d like to make the trip, please contact Bev Kloehn at [email protected] or 520-818-0914 so we can organize carpools and get a count of those staying for lunch.
