36th Annual Oracle Spring Run Benefit Car Show

The 36th annual spring run benefit car show occurs on Saturday, April 20, in Oracle. This car show is sponsored by the Oracle Historical Society.

Entries are open to all makes and models of cars, trucks, offroads, and cycles. There are first- and second-place trophies in 12 classes, including trophies for best engine, paint, interior, Best of ShowTruck, and Best of ShowCar. Awards will be given out at 1:30 p.m. by the DJ.

Classes judged are: Mod/Street Rod 1935 and older, Mod/Street Rod 1936 thru 1950, Mod/Street Rod 1951 and newer, Original 1960 and older, Original 1961 thru 1965, Original 1966 and newer, Trucks 1956 and older, Trucks 1957 and newer, Sports Car, Corvette, Muscle, and Open Class.

Preregistration: $25 donation to Oracle Historical Society, $30 after April 6 postmark. The fee includes a T-shirt, $2 discount lunch tickets at the food vendors, trophies and dash plaques to the first 100 entries, DJ Miller, door prizes, and a 50/50 drawing. A second vehicle is $15, judging only.

Registration and check-in is from 7 to 9:15 a.m. Donuts will be provided at the parade line-up across from Circle K. The parade runs through town at 9:30 a.m. to the Pinal County Courthouse Park. Limited to 175 entries. If preregistration reaches its maximum, no entries will be taken on the day of the event.
