The third annual SaddleBrooke Ranch Club Expo held on March 31 was a great success with 46 groups and clubs showcasing their individual activities. This was an opportunity for the clubs and organizations located in the community to gather in one place and tell their stories. This year there seemed to be a celebratory feel to the event as participants envisioned the future and what this event will look like as the community prepares for the arrival of the new clubhouse.

Nine new groups were included this year. They were the Gardener’s Exchange, Bible Study, the Republican Club, the Northwest State Club, Core Strength Training, Pilates, Motorcycle Riding, Bicycle Riding and Trivia.

Signs throughout the community on the day of the event were also new this year. They helped remind people of Club Expo. After this year’s event a survey was sent to the participants asking for their input in order to make Club Expo even better next year.

Besides more groups participating, there were more residents in attendance as evidenced by the number of interested people signing up for activities. Several people who had just purchased land on which to build and some Preferred Guests were also in attendance.

I thank everyone for their enthusiastic participation in making this a success and true community event. And a special thanks to La Hacienda management and staff, especially Andrea Marchus for help in planning and putting this all together.
