This year’s Club Expo on Sunday, March 20, was a resounding hit with SBR residents and guests alike. For the fourth year members from all corners of the SaddleBrooke Ranch community came together to share information about groups with which they are involved and to learn about other groups and organizations that are now available in our community. Since SBR was first established our active residents have been eager to meet their new neighbors through involvement with a variety of social, intellectual and athletic activities. Nearly 40 groups participated in this year’s event. New this year were the Billiards Club, Citizens Awareness Forum, Out of the Box, Great Courses Series and Healing Movements through Chi. We are fortunate to have so many talented residents who are willing to share their knowledge, skill and expertise with their neighbors. This year’s event coincided with the opening of the long awaited Pro Shop, the soft opening of the Pickleball courts and a major event at the Sales Office. All these events attracted a good number of people. While most of the attendees were existing SBR residents, there were also a number of preferred guests as well as visitors from Tucson. Most participants felt this was the busiest Expo we have held because of all the visitors. There were lots of smiles and friendly conversations. People enjoyed the opportunity to see and to meet their SBR neighbors. Thank you to all who helped make this a success. A special thanks goes to Andrea Marchus, Alex Baker and La Hacienda staff for their support and help.
