Colleen Carey
In the spirit of giving this holiday season, please join us for the fifth annual Golf Course Appreciation Gift.
Whether you are an avid golfer, an occasional golfer, or a non-golfing resident who enjoys and appreciates looking at our well-groomed golf course, here’s a chance to show your appreciation. Please keep in mind Jeff Mitchell, our course superintendent, and his crew are not included in the annual Employee Appreciation lunch and holiday gift from the residents.
This year we say thank you to Jeff and his crew of 16 for continuing to make our golf course an asset for our community. Jeff and his crew planted many trees to provide us with much needed shade this year. They put in a new cart path on hole 9. They actively maintain the common areas behind the homes along the golf course. One of the biggest tasks they accomplished this year was the improvement of the sand traps. They were responsible for removing the sand from each individual trap before the cement was poured (by a third party) and then refilling each one. Thank you, Jeff and crew! They keep the golf course in great shape and our greens looking good. Please remember these men and women work hard throughout the year during the heat and cold temperatures, early morning hours in the darkness and helping us prepare for tournaments that require extra TLC.
Please join your fellow residents and show your appreciation to our golf course crew this holiday season by making your check payable to SBRMGA. Beginning November 10 there will be a box located on the men’s desk located in the pro shop.
All collections are confidential and will be presented to Jeff and his crew on December 15.
Holiday cookies will be given to the crew on December 15. If you are interested in helping, please drop off your cookies to Colleen Carey’s house by December 14. Please wrap cookies in bags. My address is 60681 East Arroyo Grande Drive.
Thank you in advance for making their holiday a special one and continuing this holiday tradition at SaddleBrooke Ranch.
