Join our beginner ukulele lessons, with a free loaner ukulele to use, Wednesday, Sept. 8 through Oct. 13, from 5 to 6 p.m. in La Mesa Room.
Just for fun, try it out! You can’t read music? You don’t need to! Whether you’ve played before or want to learn now, you are invited to join in the fun of playing the ukulele!
Ukulele songs are never sad! Try it for six weeks with other beginners. It is small and inexpensive, travels easily, and is great at parties!
Students should bring their tablet or iPad to download the music book.
Taught by Carla Marquardt, who has a Bachelor’s degree in music education from the University of Wisconsin, Milwaukee, and more than 35 years of experience teaching music.
