To buy, or not to buy, is an often-asked question when it comes to purchasing many products, and sometimes it can be quite the head-scratcher working out if it’s the right purchase for you. So, to try and help you make your mind up about purchasing a drone, the SBR Technology Club is hosting a presentation by a seasoned drone user, Steve Weiss.
The club is holding their general meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 14, in La Mesa/Montana rooms at La Hacienda Club at 3:30 p.m. A short club meeting will be held, followed by a talk by Steve Weiss about drones.
Drones, officially known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) are regulated by the FAA. UAVs are aircraft and must follow all FAA rules and regulations that govern their category of use.
During Steve’s presentation, he will talk about the uses and disadvantages, and the pros and cons of these amazing machines. He will discuss rules governing drone usage, how to register, and then take a test, what to look for when buying a drone, the various uses for drones, the camera controls, and HOA guidelines in using drones.
There is more to owning a drone than having fun. Research has shown an increased mental acumen development, unique photographic perspective, making money with your drone, the socializing of a new community of users, and so much more.
After Steve’s presentation, you will be able to see a few drones used by residents at the Ranch and local area. This is a must-see!
