Summertime and the livin’ is easy…but not at the Golden Goose! Our loyal year-round customers continue their donations and beat the heat by shopping for Goose bargains in air-conditioned comfort. That’s the good news. The bad news is we lose a substantial number of volunteers to lakeside cottages and leafy glades in exotic places like Washington, Oregon, Wisconsin and Illinois.
So if you have even a few half-days to spare this summer and want to spend your time doing something fun and meaningful, please lend a hand to the Goose!
Orientations for new volunteers are usually run on the third Monday of each month, but to attract more new volunteers, the Goose is doing the one-hour orientations on both the first and third Mondays in June, July and August from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. Mark your calendar for any of the following dates: June 1, June 15, July 6, July 20, August 3, August 17.
If you have questions or want to get started sooner, give us a call at 825-9101 and we’ll do the best we can to accommodate you. There are a wide variety of jobs available, and the days and hours are flexible. Remember,
