We have a very exciting upcoming event here at the Ranch. The fall ARTwalk is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 22 and 23. Many of our potters are displaying their works in our studio at the Arts and Technology Center, and some potters will be displaying their work at their homes. These two fun-filled days are a great time to visit the Ranch’s very own creative workshops. Our potters have a cornucopia of creative pieces. Those exhibiting at the studio are: Lori Leonard, Vicki Peabody, Karin Brenner Smith, Melanie Ritson, and Claire Tietje. Those exhibiting at their homes are: Alex Anna, Janice Mihora, Julie Edmonson, and Susan Hill. Look for more specifics as the time draws closer.
You still have time this year to learn from our pottery pros. We have a few spots open for our last intro class of 2022 on Nov. 3 from noon to 3 p.m. After attending the first session, a second session, approximately 3 weeks later, will focus on glazing your pottery piece. The cost of the two sessions is $40, and all materials are included. If interested, stop by the studio to register. After hours there is a drop box on the wall outside our studio to sign up for classes and secure a spot with your check for $40. At the beginning of 2023, introductory classes will start up again.
