Nancy Carlson
Carlson-Wilcox 47, also known as CW47, will be playing at Catalina State Park on June 3 at 6 p.m. as part of the Music in the Mountains series. This trio recently played in early March at the SaddleBrooke Ranch Ballroom to a large, attentive crowd. They’ve also performed previously at Catalina State Park, the Tucson Folk Festival, and the Westward Look Resort.
Bruce and Nancy Carlson, with Ken Wilcox, are the members of this musical trio. Combined, these performers have more than 150 years of experience! Their music is for a listening audience as the intricate acoustic guitar parts, thoughtful lyrics, and tight harmonies capture their unique sound. You’ll hear selections ranging from old-timey western heritage to current covers to originals by Bruce that he terms “songs of life, love, and landscapes.”
The venue is a beautiful space facing the mountains. Bring your chair and if you wish, food and beverages. There are a few picnic tables and shady spots facing the stage.
The concert is free. You will pay an entry fee to support the state park. There will be a tip bucket where all funds will be donated to local charities.
We hope you can come for an evening of music, nature, and entertainment.
