The SaddleBrooke Ranch Riding Group will have its first ride of the season on Saturday, Sept. 23. The ride will be with the wranglers of Rockin’ K Ranch starting at 9:30 a.m. Riders will enjoy the cool shade while heading down the Tanque Verde Wash. The location is about one hour from SaddleBrooke Ranch and is a favorite with many riders with its soft sand footing and magnificent views of the Rincon mountains, especially as the horses turn back to the east.
SaddleBrooke Ranch Riding Group is open to all SaddleBrooke Ranch residents. A guest of the resident is allowed if there are sufficient horses to cover. All rides are for one hour, at a walk, just to enjoy the beautiful Arizona scenery and glorious mountain vistas. The stables are used to accommodating people of all levels of experience with a good horse to ride.
Additional rides for the fall season will be on Saturdays, Oct. 14, Nov. 11, and Dec. 9. The group goes to a different stable in the general vicinity for each ride, so the scenery is always changing.
If you would like to learn more or would like to participate, you can go to the SaddleBrooke Ranch HOA website, click on “Things to do,” then “Clubs,” then “Horseback Riding,” and then on the link you will see there. Details on this ride will be posted there. To sign up, select “Contact Us” in the lower section and enter the information requested, including your preference of time, if needed. This will then alert the secretary, who will get in touch with you to finalize your reservation.
