The summer months have turned into quiet studio times. This is the best time to join our Mudslingers Pottery Club and enjoy learning pottery techniques, as well as have more one-on-one time with our monitors. Need a great idea for a pottery piece? Drop by our studio and visit our library, or enjoy our display case.
We are accepting enrollment for the Oct. 11 class, which runs from noon to 2 p.m. Remember, we have a great intro class for $20, which includes two sessions (hand-building your own piece, then glazing techniques once your piece has been fired). When done, it’s yours to keep, whether you join Mudslingers or not. The membership fee for the remainder of 2023 is $25, 50% off the normal annual membership. Please stop by the studio to sign up and drop off your payment to reserve your spot.
Gearing Up for the ARTwalk
The Saddlebrooke Ranch ARTwalk is coming soon. This is an annual event that draws folks from everywhere. The dates are Oct. 21, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Oct. 22, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Creative Arts & Technology Center here at the Ranch turns into an artisans’ expo. This is a great time to look for those special holiday gifts. Mark your calendar for this event.
