“This is an outstanding health fair!” and “Very well organized!” were just some of the comments heard at the first SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Health & Wellness Fair. The Ranch House Sol Ballroom was buzzing with over 45 exhibitors and more than 360 residents in attendance for the fair held on March 9.
Our residents were going out of their way to share positive comments with our health fair volunteers, telling us how impressed they were with our first fair. Exhibitors continue to tell me about how organized the fair was, the great help from our amazing volunteers, and receiving such positive comments from residents.
Support from the local health and wellness providers was amazing to get us started. The various levels of sponsorship really made a big difference. Desert Life Pharmacy was our Platinum sponsor. Carbon Health Urgent Care, Desert Dermatology, Home Instead, and Tucson Eye Care were our Gold sponsors. Silver sponsors were La Posada at Pusch Ridge, NorthWest Healthcare Home Health, Oro Valley Hospital, ProActive Physical Therapy, Right at Home Tucson, Splendido at Rancho Vistoso, Sun Life Health Services of Oracle, and Village Medical.
There were exhibitors from various senior/assisted living facilities in the area, in-home caregivers, a pharmacist, a dermatologist, urgent health facilities, hospital, medical clinics, physical therapy clinics, Pilates, eye care, hospice care, nonprofit support groups, rehabilitation centers, memory care facilities, non-surgical orthopedics, chiropractic services, nutrition experts, pain management, an allergist, neuroscience, and SaddleBrooke Ranch Support Groups.
We encourage our residents to follow up with the exhibitors and sponsors who attended the Health & Wellness Fair. Exhibitors also included Casa De La Luz Hospice, A Senior Journey LLC, AAA, All Seasons, Bayada Home Healthcare, Center for Neurosciences, Chefs for Seniors, Chiropractic USA, Duke Nutrition Experts, Encompass Health Rehab Hospital, Fairwinds Desert Point, Gentiva Hospice, Gentle Hearts Care, Invictus Health, MD VIP Medical Clinics, AZ Mediquip Home Medical Equipment and Supplies, NuvoAir Medical, Origen Orthopedics, Pain Institute of Southern Arizona, Parkinson Wellness Recovery, Swan Pilates, the Cottages of Tucson, Oro Valley Urgent Care, Arizona Oncology—US Oncology, Retina Associates, Catalina Senior Advisory, Senior Support Alliances, Arizona Caregiver Coalition, Esperanza Spa Services—Massage Therapists, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, David Friedman MD, Pinal County Emergency Management/Public Health and Golder Ranch Fire District.
