The SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Conservatives in Action club is sponsoring a Candidate Forum on Wednesday, June 12, from 3 to 5 p.m. in the Sol Ballroom! Special email notices and flyers are being sent, which will provide details for this event. This will be your chance to meet many of the local candidates who will be on the primary ballot on Tuesday, July 30, Primary Election Day in Pinal County.
General Meeting, June 27, with Guest Speaker Brad Miller
We look forward to welcoming Brad Miller, candidate for Pinal County Attorney, to our general meeting on Thursday, June 27, from 3:30-5 p.m. in the La Hacienda Clubhouse. Brad is committed to securing the border, funding the police, reducing crime, and is pro-life. Over the past 17 years, Brad has had the privilege of serving the people of Arizona in various capacities, including as a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps, as a prosecutor in the Sex Crimes Bureau with the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office, and as a defender of civil and constitutional rights. For the past seven years, Brad has operated his own boutique law firm where he represents businesses, litigates real estate matters, and serves as a town attorney. During that same time, he has mobilized twice with the U.S. Marine Corps and has been awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and Selected Marine Corps Reserve Medal for his honorable service. The SBR Conservatives in Action meet the fourth Thursday of each month at 3:30 p.m. Meetings are held at the SaddleBrooke Ranch La Hacienda Clubhouse (La Mesa/La Montana Rooms) and membership is open to women and men! The mission of the SBR Conservatives in Action is to educate and empower like-minded members to take action to further Conservative/Republican goals. In the upcoming months, our speakers will share information leading up to the 2024 General Election, and will especially address issues pertinent to Pinal/Pima counties.
We plan and conduct fundraisers to support our local candidates, To date, guest speakers have included:
January, Sheila Muehling spoke on ranked choice voting; February, Tracy DuCharme, executive director for American Majority, shared information on Ballot In, Ballot Out; March, retired judge Andrew Gould gave valuable information on how to vote for Arizona judges; April, Peter Norquist a historical linguist, addressed the importance of being politically educated and spoke on UN Agenda 2030 and 15-Minute Cities.
We hope you will join us each month as we welcome speakers and schedule special events that showcase a variety of political and human interest topics. We encourage our members to provide suggestions on growing our club in an atmosphere of camaraderie, learning, and outreach to our community.
