Mark your calendars for the SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Conservatives in Action general meeting on Thursday, July 25, at 3:30 p.m.
The SBR Conservatives in Action meet the fourth Thursday of each month at 3:30 pm. The meetings are held at the SBR La Hacienda Clubhouse in the La Mesa/La Montana Rooms. Everyone is welcome to attend and join our club!
The mission of the SBR Conservatives in Action is to educate and empower our members to take action to further Conservative/Republican goals, provide a collegiate atmosphere for discussion, elect Republican/Conservative candidates, support the Republican Party, support the constitution of the United States, and provide social functions and gatherings to promote membership, morale, camaraderie, and communication.
To date, we have invited speakers to share information to enhance our knowledge of issues leading up to the 2024 Primary and General elections. Up until the election on Tuesday, Nov. 5, the SBR Conservatives in Action will continue to support our local candidates in Pinal and Pima counties monetarily and by giving candidates a voice at our general meeting each month. We will also extend invitations to Arizona federal and state candidates. We will plan and conduct fundraisers, organize meet and greet opportunities, conduct forums, and sponsor rallies to support our Arizona candidates.
We encourage our club members to provide suggestions to the board on topics that are of interest and concern to them. As a result, in response to member input for 2024, we have had speakers address a variety of topics, including Ranked Choice Voting; Ballot In-Ballot Out; how to vote for judges in Arizona; 15-Minute Cities; the Deep State; the responsibilities of the Arizona Corporation Commission; the candidacy of Attorney General; the importance of running for Board of Supervisors, Precinct Committee Chairpersons (PCs), and School Boards; participating in poll watching and poll observing; etc.
On Wednesday, June 12, the Conservatives in Action sponsored a Candidate Forum in the Sol Ballroom at SBR. The forum included 13 federal, state, and county candidates who were able to introduce themselves and talk about their candidacies, as well as participate in a general question and answer session.
As we move forward in this very important election year, we sincerely hope you will join us on the fourth Thursday of each month as we welcome speakers to share their expertise in a variety of political and human interest topics.
