At our Lady Niners May Board Meeting, President Mary Schlachter and Vice President Ann Hulett presented a check for $2,010 to Claire Grochocki, Director of Family First, Oracle. The money was collected as part of the raffle at the recent Lady Niners Invitational. Pinal County established Family First in 2004.
Family First and Family Diaper Bank helps mothers, youth, and families. Their programs include:

* Ten For Teens—Mentoring teens for a great future
* Story Time—A learning experience for toddlers and parents
* Family Diaper Bank—Supporting babies and disabled and elderly people
Family First is an inspiration for students to continue on their quest of academic and personal growth. It offers a fun and safe environment in which to work with peers, learn leadership skills, and get on–the–job training. It offers hands–on activities that foster skill development and confidence.
Family First is most grateful to the Lady Niners for their generosity in supporting this wonderful organization and for their caring spirit.
