The Tri-Community Food Bank (TCFB) is preparing to provide holiday meals and special offerings during November and December, all made possible due to the TCFB’s generous donors particularly from SaddleBrooke and SaddleBrooke Ranch.
November
In November, customers will receive their two emergency food boxes, a full Thanksgiving dinner, and a soft warm blanket for each member of the customer’s family. On November 24, the Food Bank’s dedicated volunteers will distribute a complete Thanksgiving dinner, including turkey, stuffing, vegetables, pies, and other trimmings.
December
In December, along with two emergency food boxes, Christmas dinner (hams, sides, desserts, etc.) will be provided for customers. Christmas dinner boxes will be distributed on Dec. 22 by the TCFB’s volunteers. In addition, a small gift shop will be available for eligible clients to choose toys for their children.
To Volunteer
The Food Bank is an all-volunteer organization spending zero funds on administrative costs. Volunteers fill emergency food boxes for clients, stock shelves, load walk-in refrigerators and freezers, pick up orders from grocery stores, etc. To volunteer, call the TCFB at 520-487-2010 during business hours Monday through Thursday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon.
The Tri-Community Food Bank is located at 108 Redwood Road in Mammoth, serving the communities of Oracle, San Manuel, Mammoth, and Dudleyville. The TCFB is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation and an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization.
