Did you know the Tri-Community Food Bank (TCFB) is an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization that allows taxpayers to receive state tax credits for monetary contributions? The Arizona Charitable Tax Credit is available to taxpayers for contributions to Qualifying Charitable Organizations that provide immediate basic needs to residents of Arizona such as food, clothing, shelter, and health care.
The Tri-Community Food Bank is a QCO (code 20463), which allows interested individuals to reduce their state tax liability for monetary donations made to the Food Bank, receiving a dollar-for-dollar credit against the taxes owed to the state of Arizona. Individuals can donate up to $470 and married couples filing jointly can donate up to $938. This tax credit not only benefits donors financially but supports vital community services provided by certified organizations making a significant impact on the lives of Arizonians.
To claim tax credit for 2024, Arizona tax credit donations must be made by April 15, 2025. To claim the credit, Arizona Form 321 will need to be prepared and attached to your state tax return. The Tri-Community Food Bank is an IRS 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation as well as an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization. It is located at 108 Redwood Road in Mammoth and is open five days a week (Monday to Thursday and Saturday) from 9 a.m. to noon. The Food Bank is and has always been an all-volunteer organization and totally supported by generous donations, including donations from United Food Bank in Mesa, Ariz. Communities served include Oracle, San Manuel, Mammoth, and Dudleyville.
