New years often start with resolutions. Many times, we commit to keep up with what’s working. Other times, we resolve to try something new. This year, members of the SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Club have continued to commit their mighty muscles to the Tri-Community Food Bank

(TCFB) in Mammoth, Ariz., at least three times each month. Whether it’s loading vehicles at the nearby Bashas’ on Oracle Road, or unloading and organizing food items onto warehouse shelves in Mammoth, this consistent effort is clearly working to bring real returns to those the TCFB serves. In addition, it doubles as a fun and worthwhile workout for those willing to lend their helping hands!

The club also resolved a while ago to try something new in 2025: its first-ever quilt sale, as has been shared in recent articles. Initially, the target time frame was this spring, but we all know some resolutions don’t go as originally intended. If you can also relate, please follow our advice and don’t give up! Because we haven’t! The quilt sale is still planned for 2025, but the target date is now later in the year, ensuring we have adequate time to line up all the ducks. We are resolved to make this happen, and if we can do it, so can you! In fact, why not make the “Quilts of Love Sale” one of your 2025 resolutions too?

The SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary Club continues to meet on the first and third Thursday of each month, in addition to its other voluntary endeavors with the Triangle YMCA, Families First, the Golden Goose, and others. We’re always looking for new ways to serve, as well as new members to serve with us, so if you are interested in joining or learning more, please email us at [email protected].
