Voices in the Oaks (VIO) Chorale kicked off 2025 at Way of Bean Coffee Club where we hosted a rockin’ Karaoke Party on Jan. 9 for the community. Turnout was great at the free admission event and folks sang along with their favorite artists while socializing and learning more about VIO.
On Jan. 14, chorale leaders Mary Huebner and Coralee Thompson held an introduction to choral singing class at the Oracle Union Church. The class covered information to help learn the music we sing and also explained how to use the electronic music tracks VIO provides to singers to assist practice at home. We began our 12–week spring season with our first rehearsal on Jan. 16.
Mark your calendars! Our spring concert is on April 6 at 3:30 p.m. in the Sol Ballroom. We can’t wait to see you again and make music together so stay tuned for details.
