We Be Beaders Looking Forward to Spring and Summer

Leslie Stewart

We Be Beaders, the jewelry making beading group of SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR), is busy creating unique pieces of wearable art out of all sorts of beads and gems. In April the talented group was gearing up for the April SBR Artwalk and exhibited their work in the Fine Arts Room in the Creative Arts & Technology Center. There is a window in front of the room that always displays the members’ creations. These pieces are available for sale at any time and are very reasonably priced!

We Be Beaders is a friendly club with no dues and all SBR residents are welcome. We meet Tuesdays from 9 a.m. to noon and Fridays from 1 to 4 p.m. each week. Free classes are offered, but they are optional. The only cost is the minimal charge for materials if purchase is desired. Several members just work on their current projects. There is no pressure to take a class. Many of the members have decades of experience and are happy to help you learn and design jewelry in your own unique style.

The group offers a resource library and tools that may be borrowed while working in the room.

We Be Beaders also has a website at sbrwbb.wordpress.com.
