For women and any men who have had or are currently being treated for breast cancer, the next quarterly Breast Cancer Support Meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 6. The location will be sent privately to those registered for the meeting.
Statistics from the National Breast Cancer Foundation find that 1 in 8 women in the United States will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime. In 2025, an estimated 316,950 women and 2,800 men will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer, and an additional 59,080 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer will be diagnosed. Chances are, you know at least one person who has been personally affected by breast cancer.
But there is hope. When caught in its earliest, localized stages, the 5-year relative survival rate is 99%.
Advances in early detection and treatment methods have significantly increased breast cancer survival rates in recent years, and there are currently over 4 million breast cancer survivors in the United States.
Awareness of the facts and statistics surrounding breast cancer in the United States is key in empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their health.
Life with cancer can be difficult, but here at SaddleBrooke Ranch, you are not alone. This group promises empathetic conversations from people who can listen and understand.
As ‘Sharon’ posted on the National Breast Cancer Foundation’s Wall of Support:
We are all warriors in this fight! I strongly believe we are selected to show others just starting out how this journey changes us all in some way and we are here for one another! Never give up!
