Gary Tindall is retiring after 14 years of service to TCFB.

On March 26 the Tri-Communities Food Bank (TCFB) held a luncheon at DeMarcos Restaurant in Oracle to thank the many volunteers who dedicate their time and energy to provide nutritious food for families in need in the Copper Corridor communities of Oracle, San Manuel, Mammoth, Dudleyville, and Aravaipa.
The food bank volunteers included residents from SaddleBrooke and SaddleBrooke Ranch, SaddleBrooke Sunrise Rotary members, and staff from Dollar General. Without these volunteers, the TCFB would not be able to remain open.
The luncheon also included recognition of TCFB Board member Gary Tindall, who is retiring after 14 years of service. He has been a great spokesman for the food bank and played a major role in all aspects of keeping the TCFB running. His shoes will be hard to fill, and he will be greatly missed!
Additional volunteers are needed during summer months when many folks travel and snowbirds head north. If you are interested in volunteering, please call 520-487-2010 during business hours (Monday to Thursday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon). Volunteers fill food boxes for clients, stock shelves, load walk-in refrigerators and freezers, pick up orders from grocery stores, etc.
The Tri-Community Food Bank is an all-volunteer organization spending zero funds on administration costs. It is located at 108 W. Redwood Drive in Mammoth and is open five days a week (Monday to Thursday and Saturday) from 9 a.m. to noon. The mailing address is P.O. Box 38, Mammoth, AZ 85618. TCFB is an IRS 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation, and an Arizona Qualifying Charitable Organization.
