Community Circle Players (CCP) is putting the spotlight on a newbie and a relatively new newbie who are starring in their fall production at the MountainView Ballroom, featuring even another newbie: matinees at 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 21, and Saturday, Nov. 22.
Evening performances begin at 7 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19 through Saturday, Nov. 22.
Returning to the stage in her first speaking role, Linda Gray is excited to bring her real life experience as a receptionist to her character, Ruth Kanal, in “The _urloined Letter.” Linda has lived in SaddleBrooke since 2018, keeping busy with dancing, ceramics, and working at the Golden Goose, but her real passion (other than theatre) is a very unusual and rewarding hobby: puppetry! She stated that her favorite things about CCP are the camaraderie and the talent everyone has.
Kathie Marshall is making her CCP debut and brings her high school and college acting as well as her vast public speaking experience to her role in “The Complaint Department.” Kathie has lived at the Ranch since 2019, enjoying tennis, hiking, writing, and traveling, and is now ready for something new—acting! She related that the rehearsals have been a lot of fun and that the CCP group has been really friendly, welcoming, and talented.
If you are ready to be thoroughly entertained, gather a group of friends and hurry and grab a table to enjoy great theatre, dessert, and a no-host bar. Tickets are $29 and available online at sbhoa2.org or at the HOA2 Admin Office.
