Two important Technology Club events are taking place in November.
Nov. 4, Electronics Recycling. Back by popular demand is our Electronics Recycling event. From 9 a.m. to noon in the South Parking Lot, our recycling partner company will be here to accept your old/outdated electronic equipment for responsible recycling. They accept a wide range of equipment including: computers, laptops, tablets, cellphones, printers, keyboards, monitors, fax machines, mice, cables, TVs, speakers, sound systems, hard drives, etc. Household appliances including toasters, microwaves and blenders are also accepted.
This event is free and is open to everyone at SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR)!
Nov. 19, Annual Meeting. Our Annual Meeting for 2025 will take place from 1 to 3 p.m. in the LaMesa room and is open to everyone at SBR. The meeting will include an update on some of the classes and services the club has offered this past year as well as a look ahead to 2026 offerings. We will also be introducing the candidates for our 2026 Board.
Additionally, we will be featuring another presentation by Brian Watson of ROSE (Resources/Outreach to Safeguard the Elderly). Brian spent 28 years in Federal Law Enforcement investigating financial crimes as an IRS special agent. He will talk on how to avoid financial scams and how to protect you and your family against groups and individuals trying to take advantage of seniors. Brian’s talk on this subject was very well received. We look forward to seeing you there!
