Linda Shannon-Hills, SBR Health & Wellness Fair Committee
The Ranch is a very active and friendly community, but more and more residents are finding they need to find medical resources to maintain, improve, and thrive in their health and wellness.
SBR Neighbors Helping Neighbors is hosting the third SBR Health & Wellness Fair on Saturday, March 28, from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. in the Ranch House Sol Ballroom. Mark your calendars—you don’t want to miss this great event.
The health fair planning committee has been working to invite various healthcare and wellness providers to the Ranch so that our residents can meet with them to learn about what services they provide and to have the opportunity to be more proactive about their health by participating in prevention services.
The fair will also have available various screenings for residents, including glucose, blood pressure, medication review, and body mass index (BMI). Desert Life Pharmacy will bring students from the University of Arizona Pharmacy School to join registered nurses living at the Ranch to assist with these free screenings.
Our Ranch massage therapists will also be available at the fair for short massages.
