Are you looking for a new, creative, rewarding, and relaxing hobby for 2026? Well, look no further. Join the Paper Crafters. Paper is a fascinating and easily accessible material, most often used to write on or scribble doodles on, but it can be crafted to create magnificent paper works of art.
Thank you to all the members who made 2025 such a success! We participated in monthly demonstrations and skill classes that included stamping, scrapbooking, stenciling, embossing, calendar creation, and so much more. We offered a World Card Making Day event that included card creation, raffles, and giveaways for all the participants. We were pleased to see a steady increase in new members, making the club grow to a record number. A budget surplus has afforded our club to hold events for membership as well as purchase much-needed supplies throughout the year. We have continued our community outreach by delivering handcrafted items to The Rotary Club, and we now donate handcrafted bookmarks to anyone who visits the SaddleBrooke Ranch Library. Thank you to our outgoing slate of officers for all you did to make this club a success.
Our new 2026 slate of officers includes Co-Presidents Suzy Claar and Karen Harper and Treasurer Lupe Loredo. These women will make every effort to create educational opportunities for members to learn new skills and foster an environment for members to come together and feel a sense of accomplishment while completing paper projects. Along with the continuation of monthly classes we will be offering short tutorials each week that will help members learn new skills.
The studio located in the activity center will continue to be open from 1 to 4 p.m. each Monday. As mentioned, the club is growing, and the hope is to have more members attending studio time to create projects, friendship and memories.
