The SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) National Parks Club is pleased to announce that it will be expanding its topics to include all Public Lands, including State Parks.
* Our Jan. 13 meeting features two guests from Catalina State Park. Park Historian Pat Damiani will present a program entitled “Catalina State Park—Past, Present, Future.” Ranger Lydia McBee Reed will speak to volunteer opportunities for local residents. There will be a brief Q&A session.
* Our Feb. 10 meeting will host Retire National Park Service Superintendent Deb Leggitt who will talk on our Public Lands.
Both meetings will be held at La Hacienda Club in La Mesa/La Montana Rooms, starting at 3:30 p.m. and ending by 5 p.m. The Bistro will be open to purchase food and beverage, which can be brought into the meeting space.
Club meetings are open to all SBR residents and guests and are held on the second Tuesday of the month. The club seeks to provide networking, educational, and visitation opportunities to our park system. There are no entry or membership fees. Come to hear about our neighboring park and meet your neighbors.
