SBR Republican GOP Club Hosts Jeffrey McClure, Ellie Brown, and Joel Strabala

We are honored to announce our guest speakers for Feb. 25. The meeting will take place in the SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR) Sol Ballroom at 3:30 p.m. We will have three speakers for this meeting: Jeffrey McClure, Pinal County Supervisor & Vice-Chairman, Ellie Brown, Pinal County Justice of the Peace, and Joel Strabala, Chairman, Legislative District 17.

Jeffrey McClure, Pinal County Supervisor & Vice-Chairman

Jeffrey McClure is in his sixth year on the Pinal County Board of Supervisors and currently serves as the Chairman of the Board. He was elected in November 2020, assumed office as a Supervisor on Jan. 1, 2021, and served as the Chairman of the Board in 2022. In addition, he has served three terms as Vice-Chairman.

Jeffrey McClure is a visionary leader with more than 25 years as a successful small business owner; spanning decades of economic booms and downturns, managing large budgets and industry trends, and developing long term strategies.

Prior to the Board of Supervisors, McClure was elected in 2012 to the Oracle School District Governing Board, where he served eight years; five years as president, one as vice president. He also served as County District PC leader, keeping people informed and encouraging them to get involved and to vote. McClure is dedicated to community, values feedback and information from residents and business owners, and continues to volunteer at his local food bank.

He currently serves on the following boards and committees: Inaugural Arizona Sex-Offenders Management Board (AZSOMB), Governor’s Workforce Arizona Council (GWAC), Public Safety Personal Retirement System Board (PSPRS), Pinal County Reentry Program Executive Committee, Pinal County Criminal Justice Coordination Committee (CJCC), Pinal Regional Transportation Authority (PRTA), Pinal Partnership Executive Committee, Pinal Partnership Transportation Committee, and Sun Corridor Municipal Planning Organization (SCMPO).

Jeffrey McClure will provide us with updates on what is happening in Pinal County.

Ellie Brown, Pinal County Justice of the Peace

Judge Brown is a life-long resident of Pinal County and has served in several capacities throughout her 31-year tenure with Pinal County Government, starting in 1991. Judge Brown has a vast knowledge base within the court and administrative fields serving as a twice-appointed Justice of the Peace, Judge Pro Tempore, Director, Judicial Liaison, Court Computer Field Trainer, Administrator, and Manager. Judge Brown is running for re-election.

Joel Strabala Chairman of Legislative District 17

Joel Strabala serves as Chairman of Legislative District 17 (LD17), a district that encompasses portions of both Pima and Pinal Counties in Arizona. LD17 is a key area in local politics, and Joel will be sharing important updates and discussing current challenges facing the district. His behind-the-scenes perspective will offer valuable insights into political developments and issues that directly impact our community.

The SBR Republican GOP Club meets the fourth Wednesday of the month from 3:30 to 5 p.m. in the Sol Ballroom at the Ranch House Grill and Brewery. All SaddleBrooke Ranch residents are welcome to attend.
