On April 20, the SaddleBrooke Rotary Club and co-sponsor Arizona Hearing Specialists will be hosting the 26th Annual Charity Golf Tournament at MountainView Golf Club. More than 100 golfers will enjoy some healthy competition and camaraderie, while supporting Rotary’s community work. The annual tournament is the primary fundraiser for SaddleBrooke Rotary. Over $550,000 has been raised from the tournament, and in 2025, the net proceeds were over $45,000.
The proceeds are used for local community service projects, including academic and vocational scholarships; supporting the Tri-Community Food Bank and IMPACT; community development projects in Mammoth, San Manuel, Oracle, and Catalina; cleft palate surgeries and treatment for children; student literacy; and much more.
In addition to our co-sponsor, Arizona Hearing Specialists, other major sponsors include Lisa Bayless Long Realty, Metro-Medical Billing, Vistoso Funeral Home, Mike Haney Arroyo Investment Group, Open Enclose, Waste Management, Harn Legacy, Oracle Eye Physicians and Surgeons, TRICO, First Interstate Bank, and Carpet One. Several other sponsorships are still available, and they, along with a successful silent auction, provide the majority of proceeds.
Prizes for the winning foursomes will include foursomes at local top-quality golf courses. Other prizes will include fine dining.
The cost to play is $150, and that includes lunch, awards dinner, banquet, practice facility, carts, and a guaranteed good time. Anyone interested in getting more information about sponsorships or playing as an individual or foursome should contact Tournament Chairman Dan Watson at danielbwatson@aol.com or 818–314-0422.
What is Rotary? Rotary is made up of your friends and neighbors who have fun working together to make the world a better place. Rotary is the world’s largest volunteer organization and is found in more countries than the Red Cross, Starbucks, or McDonald’s. Together with our friends, we are working to make a difference and change lives.
The Rotary Club of SaddleBrooke is an award-winning club. We meet on Thursdays at 11 a.m. for lunch at the Ranch House at SaddleBrooke Ranch. Next, we meet in the ballroom, followed by an educational program or speaker. Rotary is open to those who live and work in SaddleBrooke, SaddleBrooke Ranch, and the surrounding communities. All are welcome! For more information, check out saddlebrookerotary.com or contact the club’s Membership Chair, Diane Demeroutis, at RotarySBAZ@gmail.com.
