Cancer-Specific Support Meeting

Sandy Jessop

While the entire Cancer Support Group meets three to four times per year, we also offer cancer-specific meetings for patients/survivors only. This month, the Cancer Support Group will host a Prostate Cancer meeting.

Prostate Cancer Support Meeting

Friday, Feb. 20, 3:30 p.m.

La Mesa Room at the La Hacienda

Open only to men who have or have had prostate cancer.

This peer-to-peer discussion group is facilitated by a non-medical professional. We are fortunate to have a SaddleBrooke Ranch resident facilitating the afternoon group.

Living life with a cancer diagnosis brings uncertainty, fear, anger, sadness, and more. But here at SaddleBrooke Ranch, you are not alone. These meetings bring together people who have or have had a similar diagnosis or challenge, so you can safely gather together to share knowledge, encouragement, and emotional comfort.

As with all support groups, privacy is key. What is shared in a support group meeting must never be shared to others without explicit consent.

You do not need to be a current Cancer Support Group member to come!

To RSVP you can:

* RSVP for the calendar event in the TeamReach app (CODE: SBR-CSG24)

* Send/text a private message to Sandy Jessop at sjessop@att.net or 520-686-4566

Then, mark your calendar to help support each other through these journeys.
