The Holocaust story is one that should never stop being told wherever people learn the facts that have made our history and human behavior. It is important to be heard, remembered, and never forgotten.
Congregation B’nai Midbar invites you to hear and share the story of two people’s survival. Eva Friedner, daughter of two Holocaust survivors, shares how her parents survived, their extraordinary journey, and their renewal.
Eva’s presentation is more than remembrance: it is an invitation to honor resilience, courage, and the enduring human spirit. As time passes and the voices of survivors fade, it becomes our responsibility to listen, to learn, and to carry their legacy forward.
Why should we attend such an event? Because:
We must come to honor resilience and the courage of Holocaust survivors.
We need to learn lessons that history demands we remember.
We need to be vigilant in our own time and to connect with community through reflection and remembrance.
Together, we will remember
Together, we will learn
Together, we will ensure, never again.
The presentation is Friday, Feb. 6, at Parish Hall of the Santa Catalina Catholic Church, 1438 N. Oracle Rd, Tucson, at 2 p.m.
