Pam and Rob Greenberg moved into their new home in Unit 19 from Chicago, Ill. They have also lived in Atlanta, Toronto, New York, and New Jersey. A relative encouraged them to move to the Ranch, but the active lifestyle and activities also impressed them. They enjoy pickleball, fitness, and walking.

Rick and Shelly Williams moved into their new home in Unit 9 in early December from Lincoln, Neb. Like most of us, the community activities and weather sold them on moving to the Ranch. They enjoy golf, hiking, and bicycling.

Paul Setzer and Suzie Beck moved from Milwaukee, Wis., into their new home in Unit 17 in early January with their dog, Sienna, and cat, Mr. Carson. Paul likes golf and bicycling, and Suzie likes production theater, quilting, golf, and various arts. They are enjoying the location and all the amenities.

Richard Stewart and Linda Taylor from Carbondale, Colo., moved into their new home in Unit 16B in early January 2026. They have also lived in Laguna Beach and Palm Desert, Calif., plus Motorcoach Country Club in Indio. It was friends and all the activities at the Ranch that convinced them to move to SBR. Richard enjoys woodworking. They are RVers.

Troy and Mary Naylor from Oregon moved into their new home in Unit 19 in December. They have also lived in South Dakota. The friendliness, weather, and the amenities sold them on the Ranch, along with the scenery, sunrises, and sunsets. They enjoy woodworking and rockhounding.

Sandy Heelan moved to the Ranch from Colorado Springs and Eagle, Colo., in early January with her two dogs, Rykker and Carly Ann. Like most people, she was attracted by the weather here and all the activities available. She likes to bicycle, work out, golf, and walk. She told us, “Everything is unusual about me!”

John and Maureen Gibbs moved into their new home in Unit 21A in late 2025. They moved to the Ranch for the warmer weather, golf, pickleball, and lots of sunshine.

Kirk and Pam Dussenberry moved into their new home on Sand Hurst Lane in Unit 21A from Vancouver, Wash. Friends encouraged them to consider SBR, plus they were impressed with all the amenities, pickleball, yoga, and many artsy activities.

Gary and Valerie Bock from Moorhead, Minn. are renting at the Ranch for several months. The warm weather and elevation attracted them to rent at the Ranch over the winter. Gary has been involved with the Technology Club and woodworking, while Val has been very active with various arts and crafts, along with painting. They enjoy the friendly residents.

Welcome to our new homeowners moving into our beautiful community in the last few months. We have a wonderful welcome program for all new residents to SaddleBrooke Ranch (SBR).
Each month, the Newcomers Welcome Volunteers hold a gathering for new homeowners and renters. You are invited to attend to learn more about our community. We take photographs of homeowners to be included in the SaddleBrooke Ranch Roundup newspaper. It is optional to have your photograph taken, but it is a good way to be introduced to the community.
We encourage all new residents to visit the SBR HOA Desk, located at the opposite end of the Ranch House Grill, to meet Jamie Shipley and receive their orientation information for SaddleBrooke Ranch. We also encourage renters to visit Jamie to receive a renter’s card to use at the fitness center and indoor pool. Jamie can help you with access to other HOA information.
The group of Newcomers Welcome Volunteers consists of SBR residents who enjoy meeting people and welcoming them to our community. They are active and enthusiastically involved with many of the clubs and organizations. Contact our group if you would like to become a Newcomers Welcome Volunteer.
If you have further questions, contact Jamie Shipley at jamie.shipley@robson.com or volunteer Linda Shannon-Hills at linda@shannonhills.net.
On Jan. 21, new and soon-to-be residents pictured here attended the Newcomers Welcome Gathering. Please welcome them.
