Ladies Who Lunch

Bringing Women Together at SaddleBrooke Ranch

There is something special that happens when women gather with open hearts, warm smiles, and a desire to connect. On the third Wednesday of each month from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at The Ranch House Grill, we celebrate “Ladies Luncheon Unites Units 18A, B, C.” It brings together a joyful sisterhood of women from many different Units in our community. What began in February 2025 as an effortless way to connect neighbors has grown into a lively and welcoming gathering filled with laughter, encouragement, and friendships. Our February luncheon was a beautiful example of what makes these afternoons so meaningful. The room is always filled with smiles, animated conversation and the unmistakable sound of women enjoying one another’s company.

As one of the highlights of each month, we celebrate the “Birthday Girls. These ladies being honored are recognized with a cheerful applause, and a gift. The warmth of this reminds us all that every season of life is with celebration. It is a sweet moment that reflects the heart of the grouphonoring one another and sharing in life together. Door prizes add an extra touch of fun and excitement. We spare no detail in our monthly decorations and festivities.

This past February our tables were decorated with white tablecloths, red napkins, gold dishes, and fresh flowers at each table and colors to match the theme of the luncheon. The ladies dressed in beautiful pink, white, and red outfits. We added sparkles and Valentine’s Day accents to celebrate the February luncheon. After lunch we all shared a glass of “champagne” and toasted each other in unity to us.

Some ladies attend faithfully each month, while others join when they are able. Whether it is your first time or you have been attending for a year, you are always welcomed with kindness and enthusiasm. If you would like to join us, our next luncheon is scheduled for April 15. We have 20 to 30 ladies attending each month, and we can accommodate as many as 40 ladies.

We believe that when women gather in joy and fellowship, our community in turn grows stronger as we celebrate SBR residents one luncheon, one smile, and one friendship at a time. By the time you read this article we will have already celebrated our March luncheon, dressing in green, white, and gold. We likely will have discussed the true meaning of being “lucky” as we celebrate St. Patrick’ s Day and what is the true meaning of the “pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
