The 2026 SaddleBrooke Ranch Men’s Golf Association (SBRMGA) Ryder Cup is officially in the books, and what a great competition it was!
After the opening day of matches, the West Team held a narrow 15–12 lead over the East Team.
Thursday’s Day 2 action saw the West Team continue their strong play, winning 18 of the 27 matches while halving three others. Combined with their three-point advantage from Wednesday, the West extended its lead to 34.5–19.5 heading into the final day of competition.
One of the tournament’s biggest highlights came on hole #14, when Joe Cimo thrilled his foursome with a spectacular hole-in-one!
Day 3 singles matches once again favored the West Team, as they posted a 28.5–22.5 advantage to cap off an impressive performance and secure the 2026 SBRMGA Ryder Cup by a final score of 63–42.
This year, 14 golfers completed the tournament with perfect 3–0 records.
Representing the West Team with undefeated performances were Brad Messner, Ed Robertson, Greg Byrne, Jeff Silver, Jim Rasmussen, Jim Rodgers, Ken Rice, Larry Tipton, Mike Johnson, Mike McManus, Rod Linville, and Troy Peterson.
For the East Team, Dave Anderson and Sam Rossi also finished the tournament undefeated at 3–0.
