Preparing Our Hearts for His Coming

Twenty years ago, the Women’s Ministry of Community Church at SaddleBrooke presented its first Advent Celebration. In the ensuing years, this event has become one of the most anticipated events of the Christmas season for the women of Community Church and their friends and neighbors in SaddleBrooke, SaddleBrooke Ranch, and surrounding communities as we anticipate the coming of our Messiah by the lighting of the Advent candles representing Hope, Peace, Joy, and Love.
At that first celebration, guests were treated to music of the Christmas season by the talented voices of the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy Concert Choir. All members of the choir, who are in grades 9 through 12, are students of the Academy. In recognition of this 20th anniversary, the Pusch Ridge choir, under the direction of Daniel Dunning, Dean of Fine Arts, has been invited to come once again and share their gifts and musical talents. Mr. Dunning has a distinguished 20-year career at the school, which includes taking the choir to the WorldStrides Festival at Carnegie Hall.
The Women’s Ministry of the Community Church at SaddleBrooke invites you to join us for this event which will be held Friday, Dec. 4, at the SaddleBrooke MountainView Ballroom, 38759 MountainView Blvd., Tucson.
