SaddleBrooke Senior Softball Association (SSSA) welcomes all to enjoy three games well-played (we hope!) by your athletic neighbors, holiday lunch and more at the annual SSSA Labor Day Tournament September 5 from 9:00 a.m. until about 1:30 p.m. Sunshine Experts will sponsor this event.
Lunch, grilled up by the always reliable Doug Wagers of Window Wizard on his Louisiana Cooker, Bubba J assisting, will be served at about 11:00 by the gorgeous SSSA Cheerleaders. It’s free, but donations are encouraged.
Music by DJ Leroy Johnson between games and innings and play-by-play folly by the unpredictable Goofy Green add to the festive aura.
SSSA tourneys are a popular way to spend holidays here in SaddleBrooke. The seats were filled at the last one. Let’s fill ‘em again! SaddleBrooke Ranch residents, come see several of your friends and neighbors competing in the Brooke. Everyone is welcome!
SSSA traditionally holds tournaments four times a year. Others are Thanksgiving weekend on the Saturday, St. Patrick’s on a Saturday near 3/17 and Memorial Day. Make attending SSSA tourneys your tradition, too. These are about as raucous an event as you’ll find in SB. Season tickets are unnecessary; just show up!
