Dr. William Harant, a Podiatrist, was the speaker at the Health and Wellness Talk at SaddleBrooke Ranch on August 9. Along with a slide presentation, he spoke of a number of ailments including bone spurs, hammer toes, callouses and planter fasciitis. Dr. Harant encouraged questions from the audience. Nearly every topic he covered led to a question or comment. Diabetes and what it does to feet is a major concern for most of his patients. While wearing good shoes and taking care of our feet is important, the doctor stated most feet problems are simply hereditary.
Dr. Harant is a SaddleBrooke Ranch resident who is retired from his Tucson practice. He enjoys his work and schedules house calls for diabetic and routine foot care. He can be reached at 520-299-3339.
