On Saturday, November 11, at 1:00 p.m. in La Mesa Room, Dr. Amanda R Smicklas will join us at SaddleBrooke Ranch to give a talk titled “Move Well, Think Well, and Eat Well” for the active adult lifestyle. Her talk is on how your daily activities may be putting you at risk for numerous health problems. Dr. Smicklas helps patients by coaching them on certain activities they should do differently or avoid as to not aggravate their particular health challenge. They teach them a special “blueprint” of exercises to help strengthen and correct their own unique problem. These exercises can be performed in the comfort of your own home and can improve the effectiveness of your spinal correction. In addition to skeletal misalignment, muscles and connective tissues can be out of place or strained by improper alignment and use. Specific exercises and stretches can help your body stay in balance and in health. Come join her talk to learn how to regain or achieve better health and vitality.
